Dennis Poer, Operations Manager in Bank of the Ozarks’ Indirect Lending Division, has been elected President of the National Marine Lenders Association (NMLA), a leading organization for lenders and others who specialize in financing the purchase of boats — from bass boats to mega yachts.
He was elected to lead the NMLA because of his years of service and leadership within the organization and in recognition of his standing within the industry.
“I’ve been in banking since 1981 and dedicated to marine lending since 1988,” Poer says. “I’m excited about this responsibility with my peers across the country. The National Marine Lenders Association provides valuable education and networking to its members, dealers, brokers and others in the industry.”
Poer adds, “We also monitor the vitality of the marine industry and stay abreast of legislation and other activities that may impact our industry. I’ve been an officer of NMLA for four years, and am enjoying this year as president.”
Congratulations to Dennis Poer on this achievement. He’s one of the thousands of professionals at Bank of the Ozarks who is committed to excellence, fair dealing and exceptional customer service.
